Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using Venakhi (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

We may revise these terms from time to time; the “Last updated” date at the top tells you when. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.

2. Who may use Venakhi

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service, or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, whichever is higher.

If you are using Venakhi on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.

3. Your account

You are responsible for the activity that happens under your account, including the actions of any tutors or guests you invite to a session.

Keep your sign-in credentials confidential. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Live sessions and recordings

Live tutoring sessions on Venakhi may be recorded and processed for language-learning analysis. The host must obtain the guest's consent before recording begins — the consent step on the guest invite page is part of that obligation.

You retain ownership of the audio and text content you create. You grant Venakhi a limited license to store, process, and present that content back to you in the form of summaries, transcripts, and analysis.

We do not use your session content to train third-party AI models without explicit, separate consent.

5. Plans, billing, and refunds

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance. Unused analysis minutes do not roll over between billing periods unless your plan explicitly says so.

You may cancel a subscription at any time from Settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

We offer a pro-rated refund for the unused portion of an annual plan if you cancel within 14 days of your most recent renewal.

6. Acceptable use

Don't use Venakhi to harass another person, to record someone without their consent, to upload illegal content, or to circumvent our security or analysis systems.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with notice when possible.

7. Suspension and termination

You may close your account at any time from Settings → Leaving → Delete account.

We may suspend or terminate your account for material breach of these terms, or if we are required to do so by law.

On termination, your sessions, recordings, and analysis are deleted within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

8. Warranty and liability

Venakhi is provided “as is.” We make no warranty of fitness for a particular purpose.

To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the European Union and the country in which Venakhi is established. Any dispute will be brought before the courts with jurisdiction over that location.
